Since June 7, the Brienz Rothorn Railway has been running all the way up to Rothorn Kulm again – with breathtaking views over more than 600 mountain peaks!

The association Steam friends Brienz Rothorn Railway is committed to ensuring that the wonderful steam operation remains so despite the many adversities and the requirements of today’s railway regulations. The railway should be preserved, maintained and the relic of times long past should flourish. It is important to the patrons’ association that the original steam operation with its beautiful locomotives does not disappear into a museum, but can be shown in daily use in summer.
Preserving tradition together
Your donation will enable future generations to enjoy the unique experience of a steam railway ride up the Brienzer Rothorn. The aim is to ensure that the railway is preserved, maintained and flourishes as a relic of times long past.
